20×20-inch on stretched canvas
I’ve escaped into other people’s galaxies for as long as I can remember — books, movies, daydreams, anything with a starfield and a promise of somewhere unseen. This painting is my tribute to every story that ever let me drift beyond the gravity of real life.
In my head, this ship is an explorer who did not intend to get this close to this star. One wrong calculation in FTL and suddenly they’re thinking, “Well… this was a radiant miscalculation.” Awe and danger, wonder and heat — the whole cosmic cocktail.
Normal light shows the chaos. Blacklight highlights the cosmic fine print. Both capture that moment where curiosity flies a little too close to the fire… and tries to play it cool anyway.
